So how is Pelvic Pride different?

While pelvic floor therapists are considered the unicorns of physical therapy, you still have a choice when deciding who to trust with your care. At Pelvic Pride, we are different & here's how:

  • We work to get you in sooner so you can start experiencing relief ASAP! (Say goodbye to the fear that you might deliver before ever seeing a pelvic floor therapist for your pregnancy pain.)
  • You get more time with your therapist.
  • Our evaluation appointment is a full 75 minutes and when we say 'one hour' follow up appointments we mean you get all 60 minutes with your therapist!
  • You will stay with one therapist the whole time.
  • You won't be bounced from therapist to therapist. At Pelvic Pride we don't want you to have to repeat your story to each provider and we value the trust and rapport that starts building on day one.
  • Our therapists are the pelvic health clinical experts.

And it doesn't hurt that our clinic doesn't have the cold and sterile feeling of a typical doctor's office. Pelvic Pride is nestled into the Union Brothers Building, a 100-year old building that was previously the home to Union Bros. Furniture Company and Plymouth Wallpaper, complete with original hardwood floors and exposed brick. We have created a space we hope is warm and inviting including hot coffee and tea in the waiting area with cozy seating throughout for bodies of all sizes. In our treatment rooms, we have a variety of options to keep you comfortable from heated beds and lubrication warmers to fuzzy blankets, bolsters, wedges, and more. We truly hope you feel right at home while you are here!

Pelvic Pride is located inside the Union Brothers Building at 37 W Cross Street (two blocks from Cross Street Market). Parking is available around the building and along W Cross, S Hanover, and Race Street. We also has a designated parking in space in the lot behind the Union Brothers Building that is first come first serve (marked "TT/PP").
