Baby & Me Therapy

'Baby & Me' Therapy

Let our clinical experts take care of your pelvic floor concerns as well as help baby with torticollis, plagiocephaly, and gross motor development. With our Baby & Me program you can now receive care for yourself and your little one at the same place. No more commuting all over town for therapy sessions.

Pelvic Floor Therapy for You

Our team of clinical experts are here to help you with any of your pelvic floor concerns. Whether you are working to heal after delivery, want to address a concern from long before baby, or have developed a new issue in recent days, you have come to the right place. We commonly work with pregnant & postpartum folx who are dealing with:

  • diastasis recti
  • scar tissue after delivery (vaginal & C-section)
  • leakage or pelvic heaviness
  • return to exercise or running

At Pelvic Pride our pelvic floor therapists have advanced skills to help everyone with a pelvis which means we work with birthing parents & non-birthing parents on any pelvic floor issues they may be dealing with.

Therapy for Baby

Feeling overwhelmed with helping your baby meet their milestones? Early intervention is key!

At Pelvic Pride, our pediatric occupational therapist is an expert in working with infant development including:

  • Gross Motor Skill Development: tracking, rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking
  • Torticollis: asymmetries and neck muscle tightness for improved range of motion
  • Plagiocephaly: providing strategies to correct head shape and prevent further flattening

You no longer need to drive around town going from clinic to clinic for everyone's care. Pelvic Pride's Baby & Me program offers convenience and buys you back more time in your day.

How Does Baby & Me Work?

With our Baby & Me program you have two options:

  1. Work with Dani for both your pelvic floor concerns as well as baby's developmental care, OR
  2. Keep working with one of our other pelvic floor therapists, and see Dani right after your appointment for your little's treatment session.

Why choose option #1:

Dani is skilled in the treatment of both infant development and pelvic floor concerns. By seeing Dani, you have the flexibility of choosing who goes first during your appointment block. We know that infants are all about routine but sometimes that routine gets off. Some days you may come in while baby is sleeping & decide to take full advantage of that so you go first. Other days baby may have some extra energy to burn off so they can go first and your appointment will follow right after theirs. Either way we are here to be flexible!

Why choose option #2:

Maybe you already work with a pelvic floor provider here at Pelvic Pride, or a friend is sending you to us and they raved about the therapist they saw. This way you can still see the provider of your choice and get care for your little one with the convenience of the same location. We will schedule your appointments back to back so it is a smooth transition from your appointment to little one's appointment or vice versa.

No matter which option you choose, you can trust that you are in good hands here at Pelvic Pride.

Before coming to Pelvic Pride I had never heard of pelvic floor therapy. I was surprisingly amazed at how much I needed this and have been so grateful to find Pelvic Pride. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Marlena talked me through each and every step during my session. She listened to all of my concerns and helped cater a plan of care to my specific needs.  I have learned many skills and techniques that I use on a daily basis.
