Episode 28: Pelvic Therapy with a Fertility Focus: An Interview with Dr. Melissa Thompson

Joy Noble • February 7, 2024

Welcome to Pints & Pelvic Floors: The Podcast. In Episode 28, I sat down with

my friend Dr. Melissa Thompson, owner of Flow Physical Therapy and Wellness

in The Woodlands, Texas.

fertility treatment and pelvic pain physical therapy

Dr. Melissa takes a unique approach to treatment through the incorporation of her advanced training in fertility and menstrual health as well as her expertise in pelvic floor physical therapy. She truly brings a full body approach to her care and even partners with her husband and co-owner at Flow PT to ensure each patient gets the best care possible. We had a great time talking about just how much our menstrual cycle can be telling us about our health and the importance of looking at this ‘fifth vital sign’. Lucky for all of us, Dr. Melissa offers virtual visits for her expertise on fertility and menstruation. To see her in-person, head over to Flow Physical Therapy in The Woodlands.
